Abbi loves cupboards . . . one in particular, my cupboard with all of the spatulas. I received a phone call the other day so Abbi started playing in that cupboard. When I turned to look at her she had pushed the container of spatulas back and was sitting in the cupboard and playing with my pitcher (another one of her favorite toys!). So cute.
Today, Justin was changing Abbi's bum and told her, "You smell like an outhouse . . . well, not you, just your bum."
Also, after the kids and I got home from taking Justin to work today I went to get the kids out of the car. I opened Jack's door and he has his big toe in Abbigaile's mouth. Yuck! I told him to stop and Abbi just starts laughing. She laughs a lot now; it's great!
Last night we had our friends, the McLeods, over for dinner and it was fabulous! We ate dinner (apricot glazed pork, homemade multigrain bread, rice, and asparagus), Jack then asked to go to bed (he played and swam/ran around naked at a friends house and decided to not take his nap, so he was exhausted), and Abbi went down shortly after that. We adults then had dessert (Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Cake) which was pretty good; however, next time I may do only 1.5 times the cake batter and 2 times the fudge portion the recipe calls for (last night I doubled the whole recipe). Then we played a round of cared and the GIRLS WON!!! (We had only 350 points while the boys scored 580) Then the husbands played Call of Duty and Jessi and I fell asleep on the couch. It was a wonderful night with some awesome friends.
Tonight the kids and I are going to dinner at the Firehouse Broiler with my dad, Grandma Eve, Mom and Mackenzie; then we're all going to watch Mackenzie's dance concert! It'll be a fun evening.
